Bangalore, [August 7, 2023]: The Kannada film industry is mourning the untimely and heartbreaking loss of Spandana Ragavendra, the beloved wife of acclaimed actor Vijay Raghavendra. Spandana passed away due to a sudden heart attack while vacationing with her family in Bangkok, Thailand. The unfortunate incident occurred despite her being surrounded by loved ones.
Spandana, who hailed from Tulu descent, was married to Vijay Raghavendra on 26th August 2007. The couple had a beautiful son named Shourya. The news of her passing has deeply saddened the film fraternity and her well-wishers, who were eagerly awaiting their 16th wedding anniversary, just 19 days away.
The 36-year-old Spandana was the daughter of retired Assistant Commissioner of Police B. K. Shivaram. Although primarily leading a private life, she made a memorable guest appearance in the 2016 movie "Apoorva." Her talent and warmth had left a lasting impression on the hearts of many.
Reports indicate that Spandana had low blood pressure, which unfortunately led to a fatal heart attack. Her body is expected to be flown back to Bangalore, where the necessary formalities will be conducted to bid her a final farewell.
