Eid Holidays 2024 Announced: Starting from Monday, April 8th

Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) officially announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for employees in the private sector. From Monday, April 8 (Ramadan 29) to 3 Shawwal, employees will enjoy paid leave. If Eid falls on Tuesday, offices will reopen on Thursday, April 11. If it's on Wednesday, the holiday extends to Friday, April 12.

The UAE Cabinet declared a week-long public sector holiday, aligning with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. Government employees will have paid leave from April 8 to April 14, returning on April 15.

In Dubai, government entities will close from April 8 to April 14. Work will resume on April 15, with exemptions for essential services. These institutions must ensure continuous operation by setting appropriate working hours during the holiday.
